It’s a golden crisp warm California day and it’s my last day cleaning pools when my mind turns to the newsletter. I started this quest for a couple of reasons and it has been affective overall. Improvement is always my goal and this quest has given me a lot to think about going forward. It’s a bittersweet day because I have been enjoying my travels on this route. I have been in business now 28 years and it has been 15 since I cleaned a route on a fulltime basis. I have to admit it was hard and it really opened up my eyes to what our pool cleaners go through on a day to day basis. The pleasant parts of my days were you the clients that I ran into along my travels daily. I ran into many of you and enjoyed all of the conversations, (I always chat too much) some on a weekly basis and getting to know you. This experience will help me to understand where I can improve our services into the future or just bring it back to a time when my passion was young and inventive. The biggest lesson from all of this is that as we get older we may not work as hard to keep it fresh but a fresh approach is what we need to keep on top in assisting our clients.

As I think of the fact that our youngest is graduating this year and they have planned a party at the house I can imagine that there are some of you going through the same process as well. Its tough enough to imagine that in just a few short months we will be without kids at the house soon so that graduation party is going to be something special and emotional. I am like any of you and want it to go off without a hitch, so if you are like me and are planning an event for a graduation and it includes the pool please make sure to let us know way ahead of time so we can get you ready to go and ensure the pool is working properly. After all for many it has been sometime since you may have fired up the pool heater. If this is the case just give Michelle a call and she will set up an appointment for us to assist you so it takes that worry out of the equation for that special once in a lifetime graduation party.
