Fall ‘22 Newsletter
Solar Systems
It’s that time of year again, it’s time to shut down the solar system and winterize it so it doesn’t freeze up and break the panels. This can happen even here in this area so please contact us or your own trusted solar company to have your solar system winterized. We are starting to take calls to shut them down so don’t wait to get on our list! Contact us, to set up an appointment.
Fall Weather
With the nice weather we have had for so many months, it’s hard to believe fall is here. In the coming weeks, we are hopeful that fall weather will lead to storms and rain. With that the trees will start to drop their leaves as winds pick-up so there may be more debris in your pool. Please check your skimmer baskets regularly between our visits to insure it doesn't get clogged. This will prevent possible equipment failures due to excessive debris build-up.
Heater Shutdowns
This is also the time of the year you may want to consider turning off your pool heater. If you will not be using your pool during the coming months, you may want to save energy by shutting down your pool heater. The heater shut down service includes an inspection of your gas line. If you want this service done, please contact us.
Pool Solar Blankets
For those of you that have installed pool solar blankets to help retain the heat and reduce pool water evaporation, it will be time to remove the blanket in the next couple of weeks. As the weather cools and the rainy season begins, the blanket’s benefits are no longer effective, and it can become damaged.
Thanksgiving Holiday
Our office will be closed on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th. This gives us time to be with our families and friends to enjoy and be thankful for all that we have. The pools will be cleaned throughout the week, but this may mean your pool service technician will be doing pools off his normal schedule to fit in all his stops.
